Coffee, Cake and Community Raise £650 for Macmillan

Well done, St Joseph’s! Our Coffee and Cake afternoon and subsequent bake sale raised a wonderful £650 for Macmillan, supporting people affected by cancer.

Families enjoyed coffee, juice and delicious cakes together in the school hall, with teachers and Year 6 helping serve our guests. Thank you to everyone who baked or donated cakes, gave money, joined us or helped make the events possible. Your generosity made this lovely total possible.

Through this shared effort, our community put Catholic Social Teaching into action, standing in solidarity with people facing illness and their families. In the parable of the sheep and the goats, Jesus teaches that when we care for others, we serve him too (Matthew 25:40).

Thank you for putting love into action! 💜💛
