Friendship across generations 💜💛

Our Mini Vinnies brought some of their Year 6 classmates along to the parish Friendship Group for their first visit of the school year.

A lively game of Beetle Drive helped everyone get to know one another, with plenty of conversation, laughter and the beginnings of friendships we look forward to nurturing throughout the year.

The Mini Vinnies take turns attending three visits each term, inviting fellow Year 6 pupils to join them. These regular opportunities allow both generations to share stories, learn from one another and enjoy being part of our parish community.

This puts Catholic Social Teaching into practice: every person has dignity, something to offer and a place where they belong. Giving someone our time and attention is a simple, meaningful way to show love.

Thank you to the Friendship Group and its organisers for such a warm welcome. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
